Cameras and Discretion

Hi. I am looking for some advice about how best to deal with concerns about cameras.

I am setting up a GH at my mancave, which is a detached building in a rural countryside location, and not overlooked. Visitors can park easily and access my building via an electrically locked security gate. I have a ring doorbell at the entrance gate, plus a camera looking at the entrance yard. I also have a second ring doorbell at the entrance door into the building.

I don’t want people to be scared off by the cameras, which are only there for security use. The gate doorbell cam will alert me when to open the gate, or I could leave it manually unlocked if someone was uncomfortable about ringing the bell. I would not want to see the person visiting anyway, as this would detract from the whole anonymity of the meet. But having the cameras does make me feel a little bit safer in regard to the possibility a new visitor turning nasty.

What do people think? Should I mention the cameras when arranging the meet, or just stay quiet and address any concerns upon arrival?

We have an electric gate at our property and gatecam (as the drive is a couple of hundred yards). I ask that the visitor message us 5 mins before the meet so I can "watch the gate cam" and open the gates as they drive up. I've had no complaints about camera in 5 yrs.... One married guy I visit has a ring cam and he covers it with dark material when I am due and removes ot after I have left, so it doesnt send any alerts.
